This article makes me livid. As though we needed one more reason to push for gun control in this country. 8 year olds are now being taken to shooting ranges and given Uzi's to fire? What is wrong with a parent to make them think that's a good idea? You want to live in the wild and need a rifle because you might encounter a bear on your way to your car? Fine. You want to live in suburbia where the biggest threat is probably the e-coli running through your backyard stream (lil' shout out to the mom-ster here), there is probably no need for you to ever own a gun, hold a gun or know how to shoot a gun.
Grrrrr.
