Taking Deep Breath

Another 10 minute blog entry today...starting....now...

This weekend is working up to be a biggie. We've been contemplating when to do Ben's move to Arlington. Things were made somewhat final for us by his apartment being rented for an April 1 move in. That's all great in the long run, but it left us with 3 weeks to get things organized.

Really, there should be no worries since he is with me, the Queen of Organization and I can organize the hell out of anyone's move, hands down. However, when we looked at the calendar, there wasn't a great time to do it. Next weekend we are in Maine, the following weekend I'm doing wedding stuff with my mom on Sat and he's supposed to go to NYC for a boy's weekend. That left Friday the 27th when I could be there because it is spring break, but he has to work.

The long and short of it is that he discovered this week that he has next Tuesday off, so as of this morning, the move is happening on Tuesday. 3 days from now. Now more than ever we need an organized game plan, b/c while a lot is coming with him, some is going to Maine for storage, some is being chucked and some is being donated. His clothes are all in Arlington as is most of the contents of his food pantry ( but let's face it 3/4 of the food was expired so it got chucked). That still leaves the kitchen stuff, a lotta books knick knacks and all the stuff you forget you own until you have to pack it up.

Gird your loins people, it is going to be a crazy weekend.
